Ever since Abou Diaby made his return to the Arsenal midfield, the footballing world has waited on bated breath to see him get hurt again. It's not malice -- nobody actually wishes injury on the poor man -- but Diaby's natural state of being is 'injured', and seeing him on the pitch has confused everyone's sense of reality. It was a profound philosophical concern.
Abou Diaby injury will keep midfielder out for ‘3 weeks minimum’
Abou Diaby can’t catch a break. The midfielder, who’s been battling injuries for two full years, had had a strong start to the season but picked up a muscular problem against Chelsea and will be out for several matches.

It's not anymore. Diaby was forced off 17 minutes into the Gunners' home match against Chelsea (not coincidentally their first loss of the season) and Arsene Wenger has now confirmed that the French midfielder will be out for several matches with a muscular strain. The 'minimum' time is three weeks, which leaves the maximum as anyone's guess. Knowing Diaby, though, it'd be difficult to count on his contributions this season.
That’s a shame, because Diaby’s added some interesting drive and bite to an Arsenal midfield that’s otherwise desperately low on it. And it’s also a shame because Diaby’s only managed thirty games since mid 2010.
