Daniel Sturridge and Raheem Sterling both miss out for Liverpool as the Reds gear up to face Wigan Athletic at the DW Stadium.

Brendan Rodgers had spoken of Sterling's fatigue and need for a rest, but it appears that Sturridge is not fit either, a bad blow for Liverpool as they have little margin for error to keep their hopes of finishing fourth alive. Coutinho and Stewart Downing start in their place.
Wigan, meanwhile, continue with their three-at-the-back system with Emerson Boyce and Jean Beasejour as wingbacks. Franco Di Santo and Arouna Kone both start up front, with Shaun Maloney in behind.
