An eventful Austrian Grand Prix became even more so on the final lap, when Mercedes teammates Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg came together in a crash that could easily have forced both drivers to retire from the race. After battling back and forth with tire strategy throughout the race, Hamilton trailed Rosberg and found himself overtaking into turn two on the outside.
Austrian Grand Prix 2016 results: Full finishing order for Formula 1 race
Hamilton, Verstappen and Raikkonen managed to finish on the podium in the Austrian Grand Prix on Sunday.

There, Rosberg collided with Hamilton and severely damaged his own front wing. Hamilton escaped without serious damage and managed to finish the final lap in first place, taking yet another race win and a full haul of 25 points. Rosberg had to limp back to the finish line and was ultimately passed up by Max Verstappen of Red Bull and Kimi Räikkönen of Ferrari, who were more than happy to take the podium spots from the championship leader.
Rosberg’s lead in the championship has been whittled down to just 11 points, with Hamilton right behind him.
But the finish between those two was not the only thing worth mentioning on the day. Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari stretched a set of tires too thin and ultimately did not finish the race after his right rear tire blew out. Daniil Kvyat was also given a DNF for the race after a power unit failure.
Jenson Button, who gave McLaren their best start by beginning the race from the second row after a chaotic qualifying session, finished the race in sixth, which was still a great finish for the team that’s been hurting for points. Daniel Ricciardo of Red Bull finished right above him. Romain Grosjean of Haas finished in seventh, getting the American-owned team back in the points.
Carlos Sinz, Valtteri Bottas and Pascal Wehrlein rounded out the top 10 finishers. Wehrlein’s finish gives Manor their first points since 2014 in Monaco. Below, we’ve got the entire finishing order from Sunday’s race.
