The Formula 1 season is set to get underway with the Australian Grand Prix from Melbourne Grand Prix Circuit. The race will launch a season composed of 20 Grands Prix on multiple continents and will last nearly to the end of the year.

Sunday’s race will start at an odd hour in the United States, as many Formula One races do. It will begin at 1 a.m. ET, and will be broadcast in the U.S. on NBCSN. A live stream of the race will air online at the same time, available via NBC Sports Live.

It’s been a long offseason filled with changes, including the folding of a team, new owners for the sport entirely, multiple retirements and so much more. For a primer on all the changes between last season and this one, go here.

The big story, though, will be seeing whether Mercedes is as dominant as everyone expects for yet another season. And included in that is whether Valtteri Bottas will be any worse than Nico Rosberg, who retired after winning the Drivers Championship in 2016.

Bottas moves from Williams to Mercedes in a deal that also lured Felipe Massa back out of retirement for the former. Bottas will technically be the teammate of Lewis Hamilton, but smart money is on another rivalry developing between them, like the one Hamilton had with Rosberg for the past couple seasons.

Also worth paying attention to is McLaren, as it has been a disaster during practice. It has had more engine failures than every other team by far. It’s a dire situation and the question of whether Fernando Alonso and Stoffel Vandoorne will even finish is a valid one.

Then there’s Ferrari, whose impressive pace in testing have many considering it to be the actual frontrunner. Writing off Mercedes, who has won all but a few races over the past three seasons, would be a big mistake. For now, the pair of Sebastian Vettel and Kimi Raikkonen have a lot to prove.

Hamilton has said that Ferrari is keeping its true pace hidden and that it may be the frontrunners, however, so that’s worth noting.

There’s also been some regulation changes and changes to the cars. The Pirelli tires are wider and more durable, and the car bodies are wider, leading to increased downforce. The cars are faster overall, especially around corners, but it has led to some questions about whether overtaking will be frequent enough as the season progresses.

Below is the information you need to watch the Australian Grand Prix in the United States on television and online.
