A week after a disappointing performance put him out of the top 10, Lewis Hamilton of Mercedes will start first on the grid for the Canadian Grand Prix on Sunday. Hamilton took pole with a dominant lap in qualifying, beating out Sebastian Vettel of Ferrari for the top spot.

Sunday’s race will start at 2 p.m. ET and will be broadcast by NBC in the United States. Those wanting to watch the race online will be able to do so via NBC Sports in their browsers or via the NBC Sports app on various connected devices.

Hamilton trails Vettel in the Drivers Championship, especially after Vettel went from second on the grid to winning at the Monaco Grand Prix. It’s the first time in a long time that Mercedes is being pushed, and right now it’s Ferrari who are coming out on top.

Hamilton equaled the tally of career pole positions of Ayrton Senna with 65. Senna is Hamilton’s hero, and after the session Hamilton was presented with Senna’s helmet.

“I live in an apartment in Monaco so I don’t have a lot of space for a lot of trophies,” Hamilton said. “But I’ve definitely got space for that. Maybe my table centrepiece in the living room so that it’s the first thing you see when you come in.”

Behind Hamilton and Vettel is Valtteri Bottas of Mercedes in third and Kimi Raikkonen of Ferrari in fourth. Raikkonen took pole in Monaco and finished in second.

As usual, behind the top two teams are the Red Bulls of Max Verstappen and Daniel Ricciardo, the Williams of Felipe Massa and the Force Indias of Sergio Perez and Esteban Ocon. And, once again, the Williams is all alone as Lance Stroll again did not make it out of the third qualifying session.

Below is all you need to know to watch the action and below that is the full starting grid for Sunday.
