When you’re looking to project the top five fantasy wide receivers for Week 6, you need to look at some of the usual suspects.
Fantasy Football Projections Week 6: Wide Receivers
Reggie Wayne (@Was) - You can almost never go wrong with picking the Reggie Wayne and Peyton Manning connection for fantasy points, although last week wasn't so great. Still, we're not scared and think that Wayne will have a big day versus a suspect Washington secondary.
Projection: 125 yds, 1 TD
Miles Austin (@Min) - It's questionable whether the Cowboys will be able to run on the Vikings defense. They might be going through the air, and that should lead to plenty of chances for one of the leagues best. Expect Austin to hit paydirt.
Projection: 117 yds, 1 TD
Hakeem Nicks (vs. Det) - Nicks was smoking hot last week, becoming Eli Manning's go-to guy. The Detroit pass defense isn't quite as bad as the Texans, but they still give up a lot of yards and TDs. Nicks will eat up the yardage this week, but maybe not find the endzone.
Projection: 151 yds, 0 TD
Anquan Boldin (@ NE) - Forget about last week's anomaly, Boldin will be back this week. The Patriots pass defense is generous with the yards and the TDs, and Boldin will oblige them by grabbing some of both.
Projection: 81 yds, 1 TD
Roddy White (@ Phi) - White has been consistent all year long, he's usually good for 80 yards or more each week. The Philadelphia pass defense does pose problems; they don't surrender a lot of yards. But, they do give up their share of TDs, and White will snag one.
Projection: 78 yds, 1 TD
