So who should you pick up off the waiver wire in Week 5? We collected the sources for you, and present a Top 10 pickups list.
One week, Michael Vick is the hot name in fantasy, the next week, his replacement is hot on the waiver wire pickups list. That’s what injuries will do in an NFL season, and with Vick sidelined for one or two weeks, Kevin Kolb has now re-emerged as a viable waiver wire pickup.
Maybe of even more importance is the rise of some running backs who could be solid plays this week, and possibly beyond. Michael Bush in Oakland will get a lot more work if Darren McFadden’s hamstring proves troublesome. Ryan Torain is a guy in Washington who could force his way into contention, as highlighted earlier on sbnation.com/fantasy. And don’t forget about Mike Bell in Philly with the injury to LeSean McCoy.
