Earlier in the week, we gave you the Top 10 fantasy football player rankings for Week 5 at each of the six main positions. Now that we’ve moved closer to the weekend, we wanted to revisit the rankings and see what has changed.
Fantasy Football Week 5 Revised Rankings
QB - Peyton Manning has moved in to the top spot ahead of Aaron Rodgers. Tony Romo has made a move from the number eight spot to number five, and now that it's been confirmed Jay Cutler won't play, he's obviously dropped off the list.
RB - Frank Gore has made a strong push among the experts over the last few days and has shot up to the number one spot for running backs, ahead of Arian Foster and Chris Johnson. Adrian Peterson and Maurice Jones-Drew round out your top five.
WR - Roddy White swaps places with Miles Austin to lead the WR group. Reggie Wayne makes a late push from number six to number three, and his teammate Austin Collie jumps into the Top 10 at number six.
TE - The tight end spot remained fairly stable over the past few days with Antonio Gates, Dallas Clark and Jermichael Finley holding down the top three spots. Dustin Keller jumps up from six to four, and Vernon Davis remains at number five.
K - Nate Keading has slipped over the last few days, the experts have moved him from the number two kicker all the way down to number five. Rob Bironas also takes a tumble from number five to number nine.
