Buffalo Bills RB Fred Jackson Running All Over Detroit Lions

With two of the NFL’s worst rushing defenses in one building, surely some fantasy owners took a chance with either Buffalo Bills RB Fred Jackson or Detroit Lions RB Jahvid Best. If you went Jackson, it looks like you made the right call, as he has 80 rushing yards, 30 receiving yards, and two touchdowns early in the third. Those two scores double his yearly total.

This is already Jackson’s biggest game of the season by quite a bit and since his 227-yard uproar against the Indianapolis Colts to close 2009. He tends to give up carries to whoever’s around, whether that’s been Marshawn Lynch or rookie C.J. Spiller — not to mention scrambly QB Ryan Fitzpatrick — but he’s clearly the heart of the Bills’ game plan today.

And with an 11-point lead on a Detroit Lions team missing its starting quarterback, the especially conservative Chan Gailey isn’t about to stop running the ball.
