Peyton Hillis fantasy owners, your ace may be leveling up. Sure, he’s already scored two touchdowns with over 47 minutes left to play. And yeah, he’s on pace for something like 160 yards even though he’s only caught one pass for 21 yards so far. But the Cleveland Browns just let him throw his second pass of the season — though it fell incomplete, and though pretty much everyone would let Hillis throw instead of Jake Delhomme, how much more dangerous can Hillis get?
Peyton Hillis Scores Two First-Quarter Touchdowns Against Carolina Panthers
Hillis has a touchdown in every game this season, but this is somehow only his second multi-touchdown game. Doesn’t it seem like he’s had more than that? Hillis has been among the most consistent fantasy stars this year, but could be on his way to one of his two biggest games.
The last team to hold Hillis below 100 total yards was the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 24. The only team to keep him out of the end zone was the Pittsburgh Steelers on Oct. 17.
