The Carolina Panthers running game is probably the best thing the Cats have going, but nobody expected an outburst like this. RB Jonathan Stewart has 134 yards on only 17 carries, his first 100-yard game of the season. RB Mike Goodson, who had taken over as Carolina’s featured back in recent weeks, has another 70 and a touchdown.

Falcons RB Michael Turner is a handful of yards away from his seventh 100-yard game of the year, with two touchdowns to boot. He’s now scored in four straight games, with multiple touchdowns in three games this season. He’s also gained 100 yards in four straight games against the Panthers.
Carolina’s passing game hasn’t helped out their running attack, with only 53 yards on the day. Atlanta QB Matt Ryan has pulled his weight, throwing for 220 and a touchdown so far.
