Earlier this week, like we do every Thursday, we posted the Top 10 player rankings for the six main fantasy positions. These rankings are a consensus of experts around the Internet as collected by PlayThisGuy.com. At that time, we had analyzed 18 sources; now, we’ve added some more and have 27 sources analyzed. There aren’t a whole lot of changes, but we thought we’d highlight a few.
Fantasy Football Revised Rankings, Week 3: Aaron Rodgers Makes A Move
Since Thursday, there have been some changes in our Top 10 rankings of players for Week 3. We highlight a few.
QB
Peyton Manning was leading the list, but now we have a new QB at the top in the person of Aaron Rodgers. Tom Brady has moved up one spot to number four, knocking Tony Romo down a spot.
RB
Frank Gore was riding high as the fourth-ranked RB earlier this week, but the experts have soured somewhat and he's now dropped to eighth. Last week's rookie sensation Jahvid Best closed strong, but was still unable to crack the Top 10, ranking at eleven.
WR
The top three at WR (Andre Johnson, Miles Austin and Randy Moss) remain the same but Roddy White has edged ahead of DeSean Jackson for the fourth position, on the other hand Wes Welker has dropped from 7th to 10th.
TE
Jason Witten has dropped since Thursday when he was ranked sixth, now he comes in at nine. Meanwhile, Chris Cooley has jumped from eight to sixth.
K
At kicker, Mason Crosby has claimed the number one spot from Stephen Gostkowski as the experts are liking the Packers more and more as Sunday gets closer.
D/ST
At defense, there have been no significant changes since Thursday.
