Brandon Jacobs Injury Update: Giants Running Back Ruled Out For Sunday

The New York Giants have officially ruled Brandon Jacobs out for Sunday's game against the Buffalo Bills. Jacobs has been dealing with a knee injury that has yet to clear up. The Giants have their bye next week so one would imagine Jacobs would be able to heal up in time for the Giants week eight contest against the Miami Dolphins.

In the meantime, Ahmad Bradshaw is the primary beneficiary of Jacobs injury. D.J. Ware will operate as Bradshaw's backup, but for all intents and purposes, Bradshaw is the work horse of the Giants rushing attack.

The question will be how much the Giants go to Bradshaw. Against the Seahawks he only rushed 17 times, but the Giants also were battling from behind for much of the game. The Giants will need to control the time of possession against the dynamic Bills offense. If the Giants don't fall behind big early, Bradshaw could be in for a very solid day. Bradshaw should be in your lineup no matter the format.
