Fantasy Football Week 7 Advice: Sit/Start Projections For TEs

Week seven of the 2011 NFL season kicks off in six hours and there are some significant bye weeks to deal with in regards to tight ends. This week Buffalo, Cincinnati, New England, NY Giants, Philadelphia and San Francisco are all on bye. This means no Vernon Davis, Brent Celek, Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez or Jake Ballard.

As you prepare for your week seven matchups, there are some interesting sleeper tight ends that are either sitting on your bench, or potentially sitting on the waiver wire. If you need a one and done type of player, here are some guys to consider.

Sleepers

Pittsburgh Steelers tight end Heath Miller has struggled this season in fantasy terms because the Steelers have had to keep him back to help in pass protection. This has led to Miller ending up on the waiver wire in many leagues. The last few weeks the Steelers have gotten their offensive line healthy and Miller has some intriguing matchups in front of him. This week against the Arizona Cardinals is as enticing a matchup as you might find in week seven.

Ravens tight end Ed Dickson is another guy who faces a solid matchup against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Dickson has 18 catches on the season and could get a few more on Monday Night Football.

Here are the top 15 tight end projections for today. You can view all the projections at numberFire.com. For more on fantasy football, check out Fake Teams. Follow us on twitter@sbnationfantasy.
