Mike Wallace, Antonio Brown Fantasy Recap: Steelers Receivers Match Each Other Step For Step

The Pittsburgh Steelers held on for a 32-20 victory over the Arizona Cardinals Sunday afternoon, and they did it thanks almost entirely to their passing game. QB Ben Roethlisberger led all quarterbacks in passing yards and receivers Mike Wallace and Antonio Brown combined for 220 receiving yards. Wallace was the only one to get in the end zone, but both had monster days.

Mike Wallace continues to prove he is one of the best fantasy weapons at wide receiver. His numbers were “inflated” to some extent thanks to 95-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. Nonetheless, he is becoming more and more accustomed to the big play, which means a big TD reception is really not all that shocking.

On the other side of the coin, Antonio Brown did not have a big play, but rather he put together an effective and efficient fantasy performance. He caught seven passes for 102 yards with no reception being longer than 20 yards. Even though he did not get into the end zone, that is a very productive day.

Mike Wallace is an obvious start every week, while Antonio Brown has worked his way into a matchup-by-matchup option at your flex position. He was a great start against the Cardinals because they can't stop much of anything. The Steelers host the New England Patriots next week and given the Patriots secondary issues, Brown would be a solid flex option once again. The week after against the Baltimore Ravens? Not so much.
