Flacco entered the game averaging 256 passing yards a game, totaling 1,576 passing yards and seven touchdowns through his first six games. Flacco’s passing yards per game was up nearly 30 yards per game from last season, although his performance Monday doesn’t help.

When the starting quarterback throws for just 67 yards and an interception, it’s a given that fantasy points were hard to come by. Pierre Garcon caught just three passes for 31 yards on Sunday night as the Indianapolis Colts offense sputtered, stalled and was all-around hapless against the New Orleans Saints. In a 62-7 blowout, none of the Colts were viable, or useful, fantasy plays.
Garcon entered Week 7 as Curtis Painter’s favorite target. Since Painter replaced Kerry Collins in the lineup as the starter, Garcon had caught 15 passes for 323 yards and four touchdowns. However, he did hurt his points total in the game against the Cincinnati Bengals by fumbling the ball. It was clear that Garcon had overtaken Reggie Wayne as the No. 1 receiver this season.

Mike Wallace continues to prove he is one of the best fantasy weapons at wide receiver. His numbers were “inflated” to some extent thanks to 95-yard touchdown reception in the second quarter. Nonetheless, he is becoming more and more accustomed to the big play, which means a big TD reception is really not all that shocking.
On the other side of the coin, Antonio Brown did not have a big play, but rather he put together an effective and efficient fantasy performance. He caught seven passes for 102 yards with no reception being longer than 20 yards. Even though he did not get into the end zone, that is a very productive day.

Murray had looked solid in limited action to date, but I don’t think anybody anticipated this kind of performance, even against the Rams. His day was highlighted by a 91-yard touchdown run early in the first quarter to give the Cowboys a 7-0 lead. He did not let up from there as he finished with 25 of the Cowboys 34 carries.

Heyward-Bey came into the week with 345 yards and a touchdown on the year. While the Raiders’ passing game had been strong, the ground game was the focus for much of the early portion of the year.
Relief may be coming for Heyward-Bey Owners. With this past week’s Carson Palmer trade, the Raiders receivers should see an uptick in production if Palmer performs up to the expectations.

It’s been feast or famine for Bowe owners in the 2011 NFL season. He’s topped 100 yards three times, and scored four touchdowns in Chiefs’ past three games, but had just 17 yards in the season opener against Buffalo. It’s probably safe to assume that Bowe will be feasting more often than not, but there’s still a chance, as he deals with Kansas City’s inconsistent offense, that he could go missing for a week here and there.

Read Article >Brandon Lloyd Fantasy: Leads Rams in Receptions, Yards vs. Cowboys
After the trade of Brandon Lloyd from the Denver Broncos to St. Louis Rams, there were going to be fantasy implications. Lloyd has been said by many to have one of the better sets of hands in the league today, but Denver decided to move him anyway. They shipped him off to the NFC West where he could rejoin Josh McDaniels in St. Louis and hopefully provide a true number one receiver for Sam Bradford.
Bradford was out today but Lloyd still led the Rams on the day with 6 receptions for 74 yards, catching passes from backup A.J. Feeley. Lloyd might be worth more in St. Louis than he was in Denver as soon as Bradford returns to action. It may take them a while to develop a chemistry, but Lloyd seems to be a reliable pass catcher no matter who is throwing him the ball.
