Fantasy Football Week 8 Wide Receiver Projections: A.J. Green A Hot Pick

Yesterday, we turned the computer loose on fantasy football projections for Week 8. Now, we let the fantasy gurus have their say. SB Nation partner, playthisguy.com, has surveyed 15 sources of fantasy football advice and compiled a Top 10 list of fantasy projections for the wide receiver position.

Just like the computer, the top three receivers for Week 8 are Calvin Johnson, Wes Welker and Mike Wallace. Steve Smith in Carolina is a good play considering the Vikings run defense is tough so the Panthers will probably need to go to the air with Smith and Cam Newton. Jeremy Maclin has supplanted DeSean Jackson in Philly as the go to guy and ranks ninth this week. Rookie A.J. Green is a hot pick this week when the Bengals play the Seahawks.
