The Dallas Cowboys officially ruled out Felix Jones for Sunday's game against the Philadelphia Eagles, and a subsequent injury to Tashard Choice has made DeMarco Murray the de facto starter. He was likely the starter anyway following his blowup against the Rams, but this only further confirms it.
Felix Jones Injury Update: DeMarco Murray Expected To Start With Tashard Choice Questionable
Jones is dealing with a high ankle sprain and is likely out for another week or two at least. Choice is dealing with a shoulder injury that has limited him all week in practice. Choice is now listed as questionable on the final injury report and is looking at limited reps for Sunday, if any. In Choice's place, Phillip Tanner will operate as Murray's backup.
Murray is looking at a very solid matchup as the Philadelphia Eagles have struggled much of this season against the run. The Eagles could turn their season around following the victory over the Washington Redskins, but for now they remain a solid matchup for your fantasy running backs.
