The Cleveland Browns dropped a tough 31-13 loss to the Tennessee Titans but it didn't stop QB Colt McCoy from setting a Browns record for completions and attempts. Given the early hole in which the Browns found themselves, the loss likely helped him reach those record-setting marks.
Colt McCoy Fantasy Recap: Record Day For Browns QB
McCoy finished the game 41 of 60 for 350 yards with a touchdown and an interception. He also mixed in 16 rushing yards. While he’s had a pair of two touchdown games, this was far and away his biggest passing game of the season. For any four point TD league he would’ve gotten you approximately 17 points. Not too shabby, although I can’t imagine many folks were starting McCoy.
While McCoy is looking like a solid NFL QB, he remains primarily a backup for fantasy purposes. He is a very solid bye week option and temporary option in case of injury. If he’s available on your waiver wire and you only have one QB, he’s definitely a good option on the bench. If he’s on your bench, just keep an eye on him moving forward.
