The New Orleans Saints emerged victorious on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars but had to battle to make it happen. A key component of their victory was the performance of tight end Jimmy Graham. The second year tight end out of Miami (Fl.) hauled in ten receptions for 132 yards and a touchdown.
Jimmy Graham Fantasy Recap: Monster Day For Saints Tight End
Graham entered 2011 with high expectations after a solid rookie season in which he caught 31 passes for 356 yards and five touchdowns. Through four games this season, Graham has met those lofty expectations as he has 24 receptions for 367 yards and three touchdowns. He is on pace for 1,000+ yards and double digit touchdowns as he has become a favorite target of Drew Brees.
At this point he is looking like a must-start tight end each week. If he happens to be a backup for you, well first congratulations, but second, you might want to look into swinging a deal for Graham or your other tight end. I see no reason for Graham to not continue his recent run of success.
