Tarvaris Jackson To Be A Game-Time Decision On Sunday

Seattle Seahawks quarterback Tarvaris Jackson was a full participant during Friday's practice and is preparing to play on Sunday against the Cincinnati Bengals.

This is probably my best day, today,” Jackson said via Danny O’Neil of The Seattle Times. “I still kind of feel it when I throw a little bit. I’ve already kind of got it in my head that there’s going to be some pain when I throw a little bit. There’s going to be a little soreness.”

Jackson strained his pectoral muscle during the third quarter of a Week 5 win over the New York Giants. Despite having a bye week, Jackson's pectoral muscle hadn't healed enough to allow him to play against the Cleveland Browns last week. Backup Charlie Whitehurst struggled to move the offense and the Seahawks lost, 6-3.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll will make a decision on a starter on Sunday, with Jackson’s ability to make all the throws to be the determining factor in whether or not he starts.
