Ray Rice Fantasy Stats: Ravens Running Back Goes Wild In Second Half

Ray Rice went nuts in the second half, scoring three touchdowns to bring Baltimore back in a 30-27 win against the Cardinals. The Ravens running back finished with just 63 yards (only 16 in the second half) but he was a beast around the goal line.

The Ravens was offense comatose in the first half against the Cardinals, but Rice still managed to amass 47 yards on 11 carries. In the second half, he traded yards for scores (and lots of fantasy football points).

The Ravens trail 24-6 at half, so they might have to air it out in the second half to keep up, but if Rice can get Baltimore in the end zone he’s looking like the only offensive player on the Ravens would could salvage a decent fantasy outing.

Rice had 426 rushing yards and 337 receiving yards on the season with 2 touchdowns on the ground and 2 in the air. Rice was averaging 71 yards rushing and 56 yards receiving per game. Rice’s rushing yards were up nearly 5 yards per game from last season.

Rice was ranked as the 4th ranked running back according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the Arizona Cardinals.
