Adrian Peterson Status Update: Vikings RB With Play With Ankle Injury

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson has been dealing with an ankle injury, but he practiced in full on Thursday and Friday and is listed as probable on the injury report. With a change to rookie quarterback Christian Ponder, it's likely the Vikings feed Peterson the football more than in past weeks.

Peterson is going up against a Carolina Panthers defense that ranks in at 29th against the run and has allowed the must rushing touchdowns and runs of 20+ yards in the NFL. Peterson should be the best fantasy play at running back this week and you should have no worries about his ankle injury. Peterson is averaging over 100 yards per game and leads the NFL in rushing yards. He shouldn't have any problems this week.
