Mark Ingram Injury Update: Saints RB Out With Heel Injury

New Orleans Saints rookie running back Mark Ingram has been ruled out of this weeks game with a heel injury. Earlier in the week, Ingram was listed as "day-to-day" but failed to practice all week long. Some feel this could be a multi-week injury for Ingram. The Saints have two more games after this week until their bye, so that will be a situation to monitor.

With Ingram out, expect Pierre Thomas to get more work. Darren Sproles will likely get a lot of work in the passing game and on returns, but Thomas should get the lion's share of the carries and short yardage. Chris Ivory is also available for the game, but he's just coming off the PUP list, so he shouldn't be expected to get much action.
