Sproles had 289 rushing yards and 329 receiving yards on the season with 2 touchdowns on the ground and in the air. Sproles was averaging 41 yards rushing and 47 yards receiving per game. Sproles rushing yards were up nearly 30 yards per game from last season.

St. Louis Rams running back Steven Jackson is off to a solid start as his team improbably leads the New Orleans Saints by a score of 17-0 at the half. Jackson scored the Rams’ first touchdown, and he has 69 yards on 13 carries so far. He also has two receptions for 22 yards.
Jackson had 290 rushing yards and 51 receiving yards on the season with 2 touchdowns on the ground and 1 touchdown in the air. Jackson was averaging 58 yards rushing and 10 yards receiving per game. Jackson rushing yards is down nearly 20 yards per game from last season.

The Rams picked off Brees late in the second quarter. They scored a touchdown on the ensuing drive, giving them a 17-0 lead.
