Willis McGahee Injury Update: Broncos RB Out With Hand Injury

Denver Broncos running back Willis McGahee has been ruled out of this weeks game against the Detroit Lions with a hand injury he suffered against the Miami Dolphins. It's likely that this injury will keep McGahee out for more than just a single week. Prior to the injury, McGahee had taken over as the Broncos primary running back, averaging about 70 yards a game on the ground.

Expect former first round pick Knowshon Moreno to get the bulk of the carries with McGahee out, but in the redzone it's more likely Tim Tebow runs the football himself, especially on the goal line. Moreno will likely do his damage catching screen passes and short throws out of the backfield more so than running the ball between the tackles.
