Mike Wallace Fantasy: Steelers WR Piles Up 70 Yards

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace had seven catches for 70 yards against the New England Patriots today. His longest reception of the day was 16 yards, sort of a shock for a guy known as a deep threat. He did not find the end zone for the first week since week 4.

The NFL's ultimate deep threat, the Pittsburgh Steelers' Mike Wallace, had the NFL's ultimate vulnerable pass defense, the New England Patriots, in Week 8. The Patriots entered the game giving up 322 yards a game through the air alone, and, with Hines Ward officially out for the game, Wallace was primed for a big afternoon.

Wallace has been great for leagues that reward stuff like yards and touchdowns. He’s averaging more than 20 yards per catch and has five touchdowns through seven games. He should continue to be an elite option going forward, especially against the Patriots.
