Miles Austin Fantasy Update: Cowboys Struggles Trickle Down To Top Wide Receiver

The Dallas Cowboys struggled mightily against the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football. Unfortunately for the Miles Austin fantasy owners out there, that almost meant an underwhelming performance for one of Tony Romo's top targets.

Romo completed 18 passes, but for less than 200 yards -- and only three of his 35 attempts had Austin as the intended target. The wide receiver caught all three passes, but he ended up with just 27 yards and no touchdowns. Instead it was Laurent Robinson who seemed to be the quarterback's top receiving option.

In two games against the Eagles last season, Austin had four receptions for 84 yards which was probably some foreshadowing on Sunday night. The Eagles ranked 10th in the NFL against the pass heading into their game against the Cowboys, too, so that stingy defense definitely did not work in the Cowboys’ favor.
