Ahmad Bradshaw Injury Update: Giants RB Ruled Out For Week 10

The New York Giants ruled out running back Ahmad Bradshaw for their week 10 game against the San Francisco 49ers, according to Mike Garafolo of the Newark Star-Ledger who first reported the news last night. The Giants made it official today. Bradshaw has a stress fracture in his foot. He missed last week’s game against the Patriots.

Brandon Jacobs will again carry most of the Giants’ rushing load this week. Last week against the Patriots, Jacobs carried the ball 18 times for 72 yards and a touchdown.

Running figures to be a little tougher against the 49ers. Reinvigorated this season, the San Francisco defense has not allowed a rushing touchdown all season. Opponents are averaging just over 70 yards per game against the 49ers this season.

Despite the fracture the Giants say that Bradshaw will not need surgery for the injury.
