Fantasy Football Week 10 Advice: Sit/Start Projections For WRs

The NFL continues its week ten schedule Sunday as the league features no bye weeks. The Oakland Raiders and San Diego Chargers kicked off the week on Thursday Night Football, but now we get to the main course. No bye weeks means all the healthy big name wide receivers will be playing on Sunday. There are some significant injuries with Miles Austin, Andre Johnson and Emmanuel Sanders all sidelined. Additionally, Giants receivers Hakeem Nicks and Mario Manningham are both game-time decisions heading into their game with the 49ers.

Everybody knows to start guys like Calvin Johnson, Greg Jennings, Steve Smith (Car), and Mike Wallace. The question is which sleepers will help you fill injuries and flex positions. Not everybody has the luxury of rolling three and four deep with stars at receiver. Here are some intriguing possibilities:

Eric Decker: Considering the Broncos are going to a read-option offense on a full-time basis, it's hard to tell what kind of value wide receivers will have. Tim Tebow will do a lot of running, but as he showed in Florida's spread offense, he can find his receivers. Decker is a solid flex play with the Broncos playing well right now.

Michael Crabtree: The 49ers offense is fairly inconsistent right now, but Crabtree has emerged as the primary target for Alex Smith. He won't put up monster numbers, but he is getting looks. If you are in a PPR league, Crabtree has very solid value.

Josh Cribbs: The Cleveland Browns offense is questionable at best, but with Mohamed Massaquoi sidelined this weekend, Cribbs and Greg Little will battle for targets. If you feel the need to grab a Browns receiver, I like Cribbs a bit more because he has more big play ability. Greg LIttle has some upside of his own, but Cribbs is the better play-maker.

Here are the top 30 wide receiver projections for today. You can view all the projections at numberFire.com. For more on fantasy football, check out Fake Teams. Follow us on twitter@sbnationfantasy.
