Santonio Holmes Fantasy Stats: New York Jets WR Leads Team In Receiving Yards

New York Jets wide receiver Santonio Holmes has been a popular target for quarterback Mark Sanchez on Sunday night. Sanchez has thrown to him five times and has seen Holmes catch four of those balls for 66 yards. Unfortunately for fantasy owners, Holmes and Sanchez have been unable to work together to find the end zone for a score.

Holmes had 340 receiving yards on the season with 4 receiving touchdowns entering Week 10. Holmes was averaging 43 yards receiving per game. Holmes’s receiving yards per game was down nearly 20 yards per game from last season.

Holmes was ranked as the 23rd ranked wide receiver according to Yahoo! heading into his match up with the New England Patriots who ranked 32d against the pass, giving up 314 passing yards per game.
