Drew Brees continues to air it out for the New Orleans Saints. In Sunday's overtime victory over the Atlanta Falcons, Brees threw for 322 yards and two touchdown passes on 30-of-43 passing. With receiver Marques Colston and tight end Jimmy Graham as solid receiving options, Brees should continue piling up the yards through the air for the rest of the season.
Drew Brees Fantasy Stats: New Orleans QB Throws Two TD Passes
Brees was projected to have a pretty good day, at least fantasy-wise, against the Falcons. In his career, Brees had thrown for 3,010 yards against Atlanta for 20 touchdowns and nine interceptions.
Going into Sunday afternoon’s game, Brees was already off to a solid start this season as he became the first quarterback to eclipse 3,000 yards passing through just nine weeks of the season. Knowing that, it would seem everyone was probably guessing he would be throwing quite a bit against the Falcons.
