Blowouts aren't always a good thing from a fantasy perspective. Case in point was Dallas Cowboys tight end Jason Witten, who was largely ignored during a 44-7 victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday. Witten caught just three passes for 37 yards and was kept out of the end zone.
Jason Witten Fantasy Stats: Tight End Quiet In Cowboys Blowout
This was Witten’s fourth time in the last five games that he’s failed to eclipse 50 yards receiving.
Witten may not be the fantasy stud we’ve grown accustomed to, but he’s still putting up solid numbers. He entered Week 10 with four touchdowns and 548 receiving yards, more than plenty to keep you happy at the tight end position.
If there was any concern about him, it was about his performances in recent weeks. In the last four weeks, he had just 13 catches for 134 yards, although he had scored a pair of touchdowns in that time.
