New York Giants running back Ahmad Bradshaw is sitting out Wednesday practice as the team gets ready for the Sunday game at the New England Patriots. Bradshaw is dealing with a sore and swollen foot that cost him some playing time this past week. He left and re-entered the game but aggravating what he says was a pre-existing ailment does not help matters. Since he finished the game there would seem to be a decent chance he'll be active and starting on Sunday.
Ahmad Bradshaw Injury Update: Giants RB Sits Out Wednesday Practice
One drawback is that Brandon Jacobs likely would take away some carries from Bradshaw if the starting back is not at 100%. Jacobs is back after missing a couple weeks and has recently worked as a bit of a handcuff for Jacobs. The Patriots struggle against both the run and the pass so this is a particularly solid matchup for the Giants. We'll keep an eye on this as it develops through a week of practice.
