Daniel Thomas had 15 carries for 50 yards in Miami’s win over the Buffalo Bills today. It was Thomas’ best rushing total since week 7 against Denver. Much of Thomas’ work came in garbage time again, as the Dolphins grabbed an early lead and did not let go.

The Miami Dolphins have a strange plan for running back Daniels Thomas. Recently, Reggie Bush has been used as the team’s feature back, for everything from running between the tackles to work at the goal line. Thomas did have 17 carries last week, but mostly those came late with the game in hand.
For the season, Thomas has 99 carries for 356 yards, with no rushing touchdowns. His lone touchdown came on a reception, and he has seven catches for 49 yards this year. Fake Teams, SB Nation’s fantasy sports site, has Thomas all the way down at #41 on their week 11 running back rankings.
