Jason Witten Fantasy Stats: Cowboys TE Has Another Big Game

Jason Witten, the massive Dallas Cowboys tight end, had another big game in what has been a highly successful 2011 season. Against the rival Washington Redskins, he caught three passes for 85 yards and a touchdown.

So far, he has had the kind of consistent fantasy season that’s become typical of him in recent years. Through nine games, he had 49 receptions for 585 receptions and four touchdowns. He had two touchdowns in his last four games entering Week 11 and hasn’t had fewer than four receptions in any game this season.

He’s a rare breed of tight end that you can draft, put in your starting lineup every week and not worry about. In Week 11, the Cowboys are facing the Redskins, a team that sports a solid defense but is vulnerable to bigger targets because of the size it lacks in the secondary.
