Aaron Hernandez Status Update: Patriots TE Questionable

New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez is officially listed as questionable on the Patriots injury report, but he is expected to play against the New York Giants. Hernandez was limited all week in Patriots practice with his knee, which has kept him questionable for a few weeks, but he has continued to play each week. His overall numbers are down in 2011, but even with his knee injury he's still a threat in the redzone with 4 touchdowns already this season.

If Hernandez is out or limited, expect Rob Gronkowski to get even more looks than he already gets, especially in the redzone. Gronkowski is a huge target and a mismatch in the redzone, just like Aaron Hernandez. The Patriots like to have both on the field.
