Joseph Addai Status Update: Colts RB Expected To Play

Indianapolis Colts running back Joseph Addai is expected to play against the Atlanta Falcons, despite missing practice on Friday. Some of the Colts beat writers believe Addai was simply given a day off on Friday to help expedite the process with his knee injury. Addai is officially listed a questionable on the report, but is expected to play.

If Addai plays, it's unlikely he'll do much on the stat sheet. The Colts offense has been dreadful much of the season and they's constantly playing in catch up mode. Addai is averaging just 43 rushing yards per game on the season so far and only has 11 receptions out of the backfield. If Addai can't go, expect Delone Carter and Donald Brown to split the touches out of the backfield.
