After missing two weeks with a knee injury, New York Jets running back LaDainian Tomlinson was a full participant in this week's practices and is will play against the Washington Redskins on Sunday.
LaDanian Tomlinson Probable With Knee Injury
Tomlinson came close to playing last week against the Buffalo Bills, but the 32-year-old said the plan was to give him an additional week to get ready for the stretch run.
“That was pretty much the game plan for the year was to keep me fresh down the stretch and possibly increase my workload,” Tomlinson said on Thursday according to The Star-Ledger. “So, I am fresh and feeling good and so the coaches have that option if they want to use me more.”
In a reserve role this season, Tomlinson has 46 carries for 167 yards and a touchdown on the ground, with 25 receptions for 312 yards and a touchdown as a receiver in nine games this season.
