Oakland Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski is listed as "Questionable" for Sunday's game against the Miami Dolphins with the same left hamstring injury that kept him out of a game in October.
Sebastian Janikowski Questionable With Hamstring Injury
Janikowski missed two of the team’s three practices before returning on a limited basis on Friday.
While the injury has had an affect on the strong-legged Janikowski’s kickoffs -- four touchbacks on 24 kickoffs since the injury -- it has not affected the 12-year veteran on field goals. Janikowski is 10-of-11 on field goal attempts over the last four weeks, including a franchise-record six-for-six last week, earning AFC Special Teams Player of the Week honors for the third time this season.
Janikowski is 22-of-24 on field goal attempts with a long of an NFL-record tying 63 yards on the season and was named the AFC’s Special Teams Player of the Month honors in November. Improved accuracy this season could land Janikowski in the Pro Bowl for the first time in his career.
