Cleveland Browns running back Montario Hardesty is "Questionable" for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens with a calf injury.
Montario Hardesty Remains Questionable With Calf Injury
Hardesty missed three weeks with the injury and was set to return last week against the Cincinnati Bengals before his calf acted up during pregame warmups. Hardesty had already been deemed active for the game, but was only to play in an emergency situation. As a team, the Browns rushed for 134 yards without Hardesty -- the club's third straight 100+ yard rushing effort after gaining a season-low 44 yards in the first game without Hardesty, the team's second-round pick in the 2010 NFL Draft.
Hardesty missed Wednesday's practice before being limited on Thursday and Friday. With last year's leading rusher Peyton Hillis back from a hamstring injury, there's little reason to rush Hardesty back into the action, though he could see action in a limited role on Sunday.
