Fantasy Football Week 2 Defense Projections: Texans Defense In Top 10?

Earlier we posted the computer projections for defenses in Week 2 of fantasy football action. Now, we turn to our partner, PlayThisGuy.com, for a roundup of experts from all over the Internet. They surveyed 22 sources for their rankings and compiled them into a single chart.

The usual suspects dot the top of the charts for the Internet gurus, including the Steelers, Packers and Ravens. But the Texans, a team that was abysmal on defense last year, seem to be getting some respect based on Week 1 and the hire of Wade Phillips as coordinator. They come in seventh this week, and that's against a Dolphins team that had a good first week on offense. The Lions get some love, too. They rank fifth playing a Kansas City offense that was terrible in the first week.

Week 2 Consensus Rankings

1. Pittsburgh Steelers (PIT vs. SEA)
2. Green Bay Packers (GB @ CAR)
3. Baltimore Ravens (BAL @ TEN)
4. New York Jets (NYJ vs. JAX)
5. Detroit Lions (DET vs. KC)
6. Philadelphia Eagles (PHI @ ATL)
7. Houston Texans (HOU @ MIA)
8. New Orleans Saints (NO vs. CHI)
9. Dallas Cowboys (DAL @ SF)
10. New York Giants (NYG vs. STL)
