Fantasy Football Week 3 Quarterback Projections

In the previous update, we detailed the quarterback projections based on statistics and computer-modeling, now we’ll turn to a “collective wisdom of crowds” approach. Our partner, playthisguy.com, has surveyed 18 fantasy football sources and come to a consensus ranking on how quarterbacks should perform in Week 3.

While the computer liked Michael Vick, and didn't like Tony Romo this week, the sources here think they're both good, but not great, plays. Romo is 9th, Vick is 12th. Matthew Stafford is getting much love now that he's staying healthy and the Lions offense is rolling. The experts like his matchup against the Vikings and project him as the 5th-ranked quarterback this week.

And how about rookie Cam Newton? The Panthers aren't winning, but the young signal-caller is sure producing. His matchup with the Jaguars this week places him sixth.
