Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick was back running the first team offense at practice once again on Friday. The Eagles subsequently released their official injury report and listed Vick as questionable. The Eagles QB suffered a concussion in Sunday's loss to the Atlanta Falcons but appears to have quickly recovered from any post-concussion symptoms. He was required to be cleared by the Eagles physician as well as an independent neurological physician.
Michael Vick Injury Update: Eagles QB Listed As Questionable Following Friday Practice
Thus far Vick has been cleared to practice but the team has not specifically said he was cleared for Sunday’s game. I would imagine Vick will get final clearance either Saturday or Sunday so the team can make sure symptoms do not creep up over the weekend. As it currently stands, however, Vick would seem likely to get that start on Sunday.
A “questionable” status is always a pain for fantasy owners since it means the player is basically 50-50 to play. However, in reality Vick is much more than 50% likely to play. He has passed all the post-concussion tests thus far and is practicing with the first team with no apparent setbacks. Barring the unexpected Saturday or Sunday morning when he wakes up, he’s going to start. We’ll keep a final eye out, but if you have to make a decision now due to lack of computer access Saturday or Sunday, start Vick.
