Fantasy Football Week 3 Wide Receiver Projections: Kenny Britt On The Rise

In the previous update, we detailed the wide receiver projections based on statistics and computer-modeling, now we’ll turn to a “collective wisdom of crowds” approach. Our partner, playthisguy.com, has surveyed 18 fantasy football sources and come to a consensus ranking on how wide receivers should perform in Week 3.

As per usual, everyone still loves Andre Johnson and he comes in at the top of the list. Calvin Johnson, now that Matt Stafford is healthy and hot, is becoming a threat to take over the top receiver spot. And Kenny Britt has been a real surprise early in the season, putting together two good weeks in teaming up with Matt Hasselbeck.

Jeremy Maclin is getting noticed in Philly, both he and DeSean Jackson are recommended plays this week. Without Peyton Manning, things have been rougher for Reggie Wayne, but he still manages to squeak into the experts top 20 wide receivers for Week 3.
