Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stevie Johnson appears to be getting past a nagging groin injury that threatened his production in week three. The Bills have listed Johnson as probable on the final injury report and he apparently is walking without any noticeable hitch in his step.
Stevie Johnson Injury Update: Bills WR Getting Past Groin Injury
That last comment about walking is of significance because earlier in the week he said he was feeling the injury when he walked. Prior to Monday he had only felt the injury on the field but this week he was feeling it when he walked and it was apparently noticeable. If the injury is no longer noticeable, he would appear to be on the road to recovery.
For fantasy owners this means you should get him into your lineup with great haste. Johnson is off to a very strong start with 12 receptions, 162 yards and two touchdowns through two games. The Bills high octane offense is perfect for fantasy owners and I would suspect Johnson is in line for a monster season. Against the Patriots, the Bills could find themselves needing to continue with the pass-heavy offense, which bodes well for Johnson.
