The Dallas Cowboys officially ruled out wide receiver Miles Austin for Monday Night Football as he continues to recover from a hamstring injury suffered against the San Francisco 49ers. Austin had a monster performance against the 49ers but will be unable to capitalize on it on Monday Night Football against the Washington Redskins.
Miles Austin Injury Update: Cowboys Receiver Out For Monday Night Football
The Dallas Cowboys are filled with injury question marks beyond Austin, which could create some fantasy problems for Tony Romo. Of course, Tony Romo is one of those question marks as well. He is likely going to play, but removing Austin from the equation stings.
The Cowboys get Dez Bryant back, which will help Tony Romo. At the same time, I have to wonder if we see Romo look more towards Jesse Holley following his breakout game against the 49ers. He caught three passes for 96 yards. He rewarded Romo's faith in him with some monster catches last week so we'll see if Romo rewards him with the ball this week.
