Beanie Wells Injury Update: Cardinals RB Ready To ‘Go To Work,’ Whatever That Means

Arizona RB Beanie Wells has been a great story in this early season, but a hamstring injury is threatening that. He said he wanted to test it in pregame warmups, and he appears to be fired up to do just that:

Laced them up tight grabbed my hard hat and lunch pale time to go to work!!! #neverenough

Wells has no competition at RB when healthy. One of his competitors was traded, his other competition went down with an injury , and after having an awful season last year, this year was essentially sink or swim for the former Ohio State RB, and he’s swum masterfully. He’s tallied 183 yards and two touchdowns in his two games so far.

The Cardinals play the Seattle Seahawks at 4:15, so this is pretty much the most frustrating thing ever that you have to make the decision whether to start/bench him now. So, sorry.
