San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree was a non-factor in the team's passing game on Sunday. In Week 4 against the Jets, the Niners put up 34 points, yet Crabtree only accumulated 2 catches for 15 yards and no scores. It was a great team win but a fairly disappointing statistical outing for the 49ers' No. 1 receiver, to say the least.
Michael Crabtree absent in passing game in Week 4, fantasy dud
San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Michael Crabtree was extremely quiet in Week 4. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Analysis: Crabtree is up and down in fantasy. He has a lot of upside as the team’s No. 1 wide receiver; also when you factor in his chemistry with quarterback Alex Smith. But Crabtree is terribly inconsistent. He could be a great flex option in PPR leagues but he is really tough to depend on week-to-week as a starting receiver in your lineup. If you own him, play the match-ups with Crabtree because he won’t always be in the team’s game plan.
