Adrian Peterson had 102 yards rushing on 21 carries, adding 20 yards on four receptions during Sunday's game between the Minnesota Vikings and the Detroit Lions. He was held out of the end zone for a third straight week, however. Peterson is averaging 4.0 yards per carry this season.
Adrian Peterson turns in productive fantasy day, even without a touchdown
Adrian Peterson rushed for 102 yards rushing on 21 carries, and had 20 yards receiving on four receptions during Sunday’s game between the Vikings and the Lions. We break down the fantasy implications.

Fantasy Impact: Peterson has turned in solid production so far this season for fantasy owners who weren't too spooked by his injury history to draft him. He has completely whiffed on the end zone after rushing for two touchdowns in the season opener, however. With Christian Ponder under center, the Vikings' offense hasn't done a great job putting Peterson in scoring position, but at an RB2 price it's hard to complain with what the veteran running back has done so far.
